The energy surrounding March Madness these days is amazing to see and be a part of. Being able to fill out multiple brackets, on multiple platforms, and get together with friends to watch these amazing young athletes perform on these grand stages is one of the reasons why I got into sports journalism.
Being able to immerse yourself in the action as closely as possible and hopefully get paid for it in the future should be every kids dream. Okay maybe not every kids dream, but you get my point.
March Madness has created stars in the game of college basketball and immortalized them in NCAA lure. Kemba Walker, Kris Jenkins, Christian Laettner and many more have had the luxury of being a part of some of the most memorable moments in the history of sports. The likes of Ryan Morrison and Karl-Anthony Towns have been on the other end of these events but nonetheless will be remembered as some of the most exciting and interesting players to every grace the tourney’s hardwood.
