Juve Still in Trouble?

With the only goal coming from Moise Keane at the 72nd minute, Juventus were able to pull a off a win, 1-0, against Empoli.

Even without Cristiano Ronaldo.

Although, this win isn’t that impressive. Empoli is currently third to last in Serie A. Juventus is first in Serie A.

Their next two games, before the Champions League Quarter Final, will be against Cagliari (12) and Milan (4).

In all, Juventus shouldn’t have an issue couldn’t through the next few games without Ronaldo. But, according to Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri, Ronaldo is still in question for the first leg against Ajax.

Ajax recently just defeated reigning champions Real Madrid, knocking them out of the Champions League. They also defeated their rival, PSV Eindhoven, 3-1. In Eredivisie, the Netherlands Football League, Ajax is second in the standings, only two points now behind PSV.

While their is still doubt about Ronaldo being back from his coach, Ronaldo’s Instagram says otherwise.

The star player wrote, “working hard on my recovery,” with a video of him swimming.

Working hard on my recovery💪🏽

Juventus is known to be a successful team without Ronaldo. But, during the Champions League, they have even struggled with him.

Even with Ronaldo during the Atletico Madrid game, they fell behind. If it weren’t for Ronaldo’s hat trick, they would have been knocked out of the Champions League.

Hopefully Ronaldo can recover in time for the game against Ajax, because without him, I see Juventus maybe struggling a little bit against them.
